The most interesting part of designing furniture is fulfilling the function desired. What sort of night table does this client want? Does he/she prefer night tables with drawers or shelves? Does he/she want it mattress height or higher? How high is the mattress? Where does the box of Kleenex go so it won't be permanently sitting on the top of my beautiful cabinet? Endless interesting questions. Just think of all the problems that need to be solved in the design of your ideal desk.
